Privacy policy
We collect the bare minimum needed to fly you safely. We don’t sell your data, we don’t run a marketing CRM, and we don’t ship lists to third parties.

1. What we collect
From booking, we collect: your name, email, phone, billing address (for card processing), date of birth (for the waiver), and payment details. We collect emergency contact information at the trailhead, on paper, which is shredded 30 days after your flight.
From our website, we collect: standard server logs (IP, user agent, referrer, timestamp) for security and traffic analysis. Aggregated analytics via Plausible (no cookies, no cross-site tracking).
From your flight: photos and video taken by your pilot, subject to the photo release in the waiver (Section 5).
2. Why we collect it
- Name + waiver info — required for USHPA-compliant participation.
- Phone — to call you with the weather call 24 hours before your flight.
- Email — to send the booking confirmation, waiver and post-flight photos.
- Payment details — processed by Stripe; we never see or store card numbers.
- Server logs — security, debugging, traffic analytics.
3. Who we share data with
Three categories of third party only:
- Stripe for payment processing.
- Postmark for transactional email (confirmations, waivers, photos).
- USHPA for required incident reporting if applicable.
We do not share data with marketing platforms, advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics-vendor pixels of any kind. We do not maintain an email marketing list. We do not retarget you across the web.
4. How long we keep it
- Booking + payment records: 7 years (IRS and USHPA requirements).
- Photos and video: 12 months after flight, then deleted from active storage. Featured photos may persist in our public gallery; opt-out available at any time.
- Server logs: 90 days.
- Paper emergency contact forms: 30 days, then shredded.
5. Your rights
You can request a copy of all data we hold about you, request correction, or request deletion (subject to legal retention obligations) by emailing WildSkyLLC@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.
California residents have additional rights under CCPA. Colorado residents have rights under the CPA. We honor both, and we extend the same rights to everyone regardless of state.
6. Cookies and tracking
This site does not use cookies, fingerprinting, or any persistent tracking. Our analytics tool (Plausible) is cookieless. The only data persistence is your in-progress booking, stored in your browser’s localStorage and never transmitted unless you complete the booking.
7. Ages
Our minimum age is 18 (16+ with prior arrangement), we collect a parent/guardian signature on the waiver. We don’t collect any data about children outside the flight context.
8. Changes to this policy
Material changes will be reflected here with the “Last updated” date at the top of the page and, where applicable, communicated by email to active customers.
