Wild Sky is a small, pilot-led tandem operation based in Boulder. We started it to share what we love most — flying the spectacular mountains of Colorado — sharing the adventure and thrill of flight — helping others face their fears and get outside of their comfort zones!

Joshua is a 3rd generation Colorado native who grew up flying these mountains. Miles is a lifelong multi-sport enthusiast and advanced tandem instructor. Joshua and Miles have flown first-timers, teens, 75+ year-olds — and the occasional bucket-list flyer from the other side of the world. The thing we love most about this job is watching someone touch down after their first flight and take that thrill of flight and courage to step into the unknown back into their lives!

Tandem paragliding carries inherent risk. At Wild Sky, safety is our highest priority, and every flight is managed with the utmost care and professionalism.
Every flight is led by a USHPA-certified pilot with up to 20 years of experience and thousands of flights.
We fly brand-new Niviuk wings and harnesses, with a reserve parachute on every flight.
If conditions won’t allow a safe flight, we reschedule at no charge. We’d rather get you up on a great day than push a marginal one.
A thorough pre-flight briefing covers harness, helmet, launch posture, in-flight communication, and landing — before you take a single step toward the edge.
Boulder sits where the eastern plains meet the Rocky Mountains. We launch above Wonderland Lake — Boulder’s primary paragliding launch site — just ten minutes from downtown.
From the air you’ll see downtown Boulder, the Continental Divide & Indian Peaks, and the Great Plains stretching east to Denver. On a clear day, Longs and Pikes Peak sit on the north and south horizons.
Guest often come from Longmont (20min), Loveland (40min), Golden (50 min), and Colorado Springs (90min).
