Cancellation policy
Our policy is simple: we’d rather reschedule you than refund you, and we’d rather refund you than let you fly in air that isn’t safe.

If we cancel for weather, you get 100% of your money back — or a price-locked reschedule, your choice. If you cancel, the refund depends on timing.
1. Weather cancellations (our call)
- Free reschedule to any open date in the next 12 months, at your original price.
- Full refund within 3–5 business days. No restocking fee, no admin charge.
We call every flight 24 hours ahead — never the morning-of. You will get a personal phone call from your pilot.
2. Passenger cancellations
Cancellations initiated by you, the passenger, follow this schedule:
- Outside 48 hours of scheduled launch: Free reschedule or full refund.
- Within 48 hours of scheduled launch: Free reschedule to any open date in the next 12 months, OR 50% refund.
- Same-day no-show: 100% charge. We will still honor a future flight at 50% of the original price.
3. Late arrivals
Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled launch time. If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, your pilot may need to reschedule your flight depending on the day’s manifest. Late-arrival rescheduling is free; same-day re-launches depend on conditions and availability.
4. Refund processing
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 3–5 business days. International cards may take up to 10 business days due to interchange settlement. You will receive an email confirmation when the refund is initiated and a second when it clears.
5. Gift card refunds
Gift cards purchased within the last 14 days are fully refundable, no questions asked. After 14 days, gift cards are non-refundable but always usable. We honor every gift card we’ve ever sold, regardless of stated expiry. If yours expired and you want to fly, email us.
6. Group and corporate bookings
Group bookings of 5+ passengers and private charters follow a custom cancellation schedule outlined in the booking agreement. Generally: 50% deposit non-refundable at signature, balance refundable outside 30 days, half refundable inside 30 days, non-refundable inside 7 days. Weather cancellations remain 100% refundable at any notice.
7. Force majeure
For events outside reasonable control (extreme weather emergencies, wildfire smoke advisories, FAA airspace closures, natural disasters, public-health restrictions), Wild Sky reserves the right to reschedule or refund as appropriate. We will always favor the option that returns more value to the passenger.
