Most couples and small groups build the flight into a bigger day rather than treating it as the whole itinerary. Meet at the park in the morning or early afternoon (season runs April through October), fly, then spend the rest of the day in Boulder proper — Pearl Street is a ten-minute drive and makes an easy second half to the day, whether that’s a celebratory lunch or just wandering with the adrenaline still in your legs.
If you’re planning this as a surprise, loop your pilot in ahead of time. A quiet word before launch means the moment your person lands can be exactly what you pictured — champagne, a sign, the ring, whatever the occasion calls for.
